web browser
with queries and graphical interface.
GFS/SOM
- Storage Optimization Manager
It allows writing to disk the files
that would originally have been written to magnetic tapes. This mechanism
is totally transparent to production and releases processing capacity
and time to execute critical tasks. Later, when it
is more convenient for production, the files are then released or moved to
tapes in an optimized manner, taking full advantage of their storage
capacity.
